Smarter invoicing for legal teams
Turn recorded time and expenses into accurate, client-ready invoices, from capturing billable work to reviewing, generating and tracking invoices in one place.
From billable work to invoice
Record time directly against a matter, add billable or non-billable activities, and capture expenses with supporting receipts. Approved billing events and expenses then flow into the invoice process.
- Time, activities and expenses captured against the matter
- Receipts attached to expenses
- Less manual administration and billing that stays on track
A clear, controlled invoice process
Run invoices for all eligible matters or selected matters using a defined cut-off date. Before generating documents, billing teams can review lines, edit details, add approved items or remove lines, all while the invoice remains in New status.
- Reset instead of deleting: return a line to Pending, change its matter or mark it non-billable
- Track invoices through New, Billed, Complete and Cancelled; billed invoices are locked
- Expand an invoice to inspect and adjust individual lines
Generate the documents your clients need
Create client-ready tax invoices in Word or PDF, or generate LEDES statements for e-billing systems. Produce documents with no attachments or receipts only, tailored to each client.
- Tax invoice with or without attachments
- Receipts-only output
- LEDES statements for e-billing
See what is owed, and how old it is
Aged debtors and invoice dashboards show what has been invoiced, collected and is still outstanding, by client and by age.
- Aged debtors by bill date with current, 31–60, 61–90 and 90+ day buckets
- Invoice status by value: paid, partially paid, issued, credited
- Export to CSV or print
